- Report a correction: the page URL, what is wrong, and the source that supports the fix — see our Corrections Policy.
- Ask about visiting a temple: include the temple name, its city, and the date you plan to visit.
- Permissions and links: tell us which image or page you want to reference and where it will appear.

What we can and cannot help with
Sacred Places India is an independent editorial guide. We research and publish temple histories, architecture notes and visitor information; the site is researched, written and maintained by Naveen singh negi, who also reads every message that arrives. We do not sell tickets, arrange darshan or pooja bookings, act as a travel agency, or accept payment for placement in a list or ranking — every listing on this site is decided editorially, and any commercial relationship is disclosed on the page itself.
How corrections are handled
Factual corrections take priority over everything else in the inbox. Send the page URL, the exact sentence you believe is wrong, and a link or citation that supports the fix — an ASI publication, an inscription report, a peer-reviewed article or an official monument record. The reference is checked against the claim, and the page and its sources list are updated with the source date shown on the page. If we cannot confirm a claim, we qualify or remove it rather than leaving it unresolved. The full process, including how to escalate a disputed decision, is described in our Corrections Policy.
Press, permissions and reuse
For interviews, fact-checking queries or republication requests, write to us with your deadline and the outlet you represent. Photographs on this site are credited on the Image Credits page, and many are used under Creative Commons licences whose own terms still apply when you reuse them. We can supply our editorial methodology, correction log and data sources on request for newsroom verification.
Sources & References
These are the published records this page draws on. Each entry names the body that issued it and the specific claims on this page that it backs, so you can check them yourself rather than taking our word for it.

— every record linked above was re-requested for this release, so the link still resolves and the publisher still serves the document. It is a link check, not a re-verification of every sentence on this page.
