The ASI has begun documenting these risks and evaluating adaptation options, including additional offshore barriers and enhanced drainage.
The Shore Temple's survival has always been a battle against the sea. The question is not whether the sea will advance � it already has, centuries ago. The question is how long human engineering can hold the line. UNESCO, the ASI, and international conservation bodies continue to work together, prioritising stabilisation over intervention, ensuring that the oldest structural stone temple in South India remains standing for future generations.
